Why UF?

The future of Florida leadership matters to us. After all, we're part of a huge institution that contributes nearly $6 billion dollars and 75,000 jobs to our state's economy each year. As part of the nation's fourth largest university, we have access to the latest thinking about Florida's position in the global economy, trends in consumer markets, technological advances, environmental issues and impacts and health science breakthroughs. Few universities can boast of the breadth and depth of our academic programs.

The fact is that many of Florida's business, community and governmental leaders learned their professions and gained their first taste of leadership at the University of Florida. There's a good chance you may be one of them. But the traditional classroom is only a part of what we do.
